O MY SOUL
Where has all the beauty gone?
(Where has all the beauty gone?)
Did it warp beneath the Paris sun?
(Beneath the sun, beneath the sun)
Well I came here for the music but the music
It had moved on
Saw Franco carrying his can
(Carrying his can)
Showing anyone who gave a damn
(D'you give a damn? D'you give a damn?)
And plenty folks who didn't
Well beauty's where you find it I suppose
O My Soul
To a man in Saint Johan
(To a man in Saint Johan)
She said "I'll love you til the the cows come home"
(For all the cows, for all the cows)
And in a snow scented alley
They lock'd lips until neither felt alone
So who chased it all away?
(Who chased it all away?)
She said she'd love you more than she could say
(Well what's she saying, what's she saying?)
But through the streets of Saint Johan
I see the cows are coming home today
OMySoul
Where has all the beauty gone?
(Where has all the beauty gone?)
Did it warp beneath the Paris sun?
(Beneath the sun, beneath the sun)
Well I came here for the beauty but my beauty
She had moved on
Where has all the beauty gone?
(Where has all the beauty gone?)
Did it warp beneath the Paris sun?
(Beneath the sun, beneath the sun)
Well I came here for the music but the Lizard King
Had passed on

LITTLE RED HEN
One day as the Little Red Hen
Was scratching in the field
She found a grain of wheat
"This wheat must be planted,"
She said "who will help?"
"Not I," said the Duck
"I'm doing something else.
I've got a job..." said the Duck to the Hen
"and it takes all my time you should get one my friend."
"Then I will do it myself!"
Said the Little Red Hen
And she did so the wheat
Grew yellow and tall
"This wheat must be cut
Who will cut it with me?"
"Not I," said the Cat
"O, I'm very busy
It's my friend's birthday and he's having a party
I've not seen him this year and I like to be friendly."
"Then I will do it myself!"
Said the Little Red Hen
But when the wheat was cut
It needed threshing
So the Hen asked the Dog
If he'd help thresh the wheat
For the Dog was the sweetest friend
She's ever meet
He said "I'd help you my friend but I'm helping another
So I'd have to say it's a 'Not I' from your brother"
"Then I will do it myself!"
Said the Little Red Hen
And when the wheat was threshed
She took it to The Mill
And at The Mill
She turned it into flour
Then she took that flour
And she made bread
And that load of bread
Looked so very tasty
That the Hen she called out:
"Who will eat this with me?"
And the Duck, Cat and Dog said they'd each have a piece
But they were no help when the Hen needed them
So she ate it herself
Because she's the Little Red Hen
And none of you cluckers
Are gonna eat her bread

JEALOUS MATADOR
Every time I look into your eyes
I see his face
And it drives me to distraction
Like a fairground attraction
But attraction to you is so very fleeting
More like a passing greeting
Than an annual boardroom meeting
I'm the Jealous Matador
And I don't take no bull from you
And if you ever agreed to meet him for sangria
That would make me angrier
And angrier and angrier
And if you ever smelt his putrid breath
I would find you and put you to death
And burn you and snort your ashes...???
Still my billowing red cloak it never stops
At least we're not in a china shop
All the teacups would be smashed to pieces
Along with you as well
So the morale of the tale is this
If you go near those loins of his
I would serve you as a frozen T-bone steak
To that lover of yours so his teeth would break

TWIST
Normally I'm seventeen
Times more charming than you've seen
Normally the jokes I tell make sense
Under different circumstances
I can be quite a Romantic
Hell, I try to quit smoking
Just for you
But I'm not myself
Cos my head's in a Twist over you
Normally I'm forty-three
Times for charming than you've seen
Normally the songs I write rhyme
I can perambulate
On affairs of state
And other interesting stuff
But that's not enough
For you My Love
But you're not My Love
And that's kind of
The problem
That I'm not myself
Cos my head's in a Twist over you

NEVER BEEN IN LOVE
You ask me
When are my Dark Times
And I reply
"Whenever the Sun Shines."
You've Never Been In Love
But you'll put it in a Song
You tell me
"The battle's not even begun."
Well I've been fighting since that line was sung
You've Never Been In Love
But you'll put it in a Song
Now I ask you
"When are your Dark Times?"
And you reply
"Whenever the Sun Shines."
Battle on my pacifist boy
What a Loaded Gun
Everything About Us
Belongs to everyone
You've Never Been In Love
You've Never Been In Love
You've Never Been In Love
Have you ever been in Love?
Have you ever been in Love?
